re act: pt. I
re act: pt. I

re act: pt. I & II are the processing and reflection of my daily state after a hospitalization in 2017. The project started in late October 2017 and continued until April 2018.
Inspired by Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach’s inkblots, I would press two canvases together after pouring a shade based on the present moment. White means elation and black projects ultimate despair, anything in between is a simple measure of the day.

To See the Light in the Waves

Inspired by Colin Stetson’s album New History Warfare Vol. 3: To See More Light, in particular “Who the Waves are Roaring For (Hunted II)”
